Description
When it comes to AN/oil/fuel/coolant bulk-head and general fittings, a good seal is crucial.
In many cases a copper washer will not suffice as it will not fit correctly due to the nature of the thread/fitting. It will usually be a smaller diameter section past the thread, meaning the washer will sit loosely as it has to be large enough to get past the thread in the first place.
With a Dowty/Hydraulic washer this is not an issue, as the rubber internal can be slightly compressed upon installation giving a tight fit around the base of the fitting.
Overall this style of washer is: reusable, easy to install and can withstand high pressurised systems.
This is a 90 piece set with all sizes you may need on a competition car from 1/4” – 1”.
