Having a torn/ripped boot can become a big job to replace without the correct tool

When replacing a CV boot without the correct tool, it soon becomes a very involved job, stripping back the driveshaft, removing the CV etc.

In the case of replacing a steering rack boot, this also becomes a very involved job very quickly! Having to remove the track rod end which may be seized, then having to re-align the vehicle after.

With our install tool say goodbye to all this hassle. Simply remove the old boot (just cut it off) then using this stretch tool, slide the boot over your CV joint/track rod end.

We have found for the best results use liberal amounts of engine oil and slide it on in one fast motion. Pneumatic stretch tools are also available, but we’ve found these work just as well at a fraction of the price.
