Description

DTM Deutsch connectors are a common electrical connector found on most competition and race cars.

They are an unmistakable grey and orange plug.

The yellow weather seal connectors also found on race cars are similar but DTM connectors are often considered a stronger connection.

It should be noted these are not genuine DTM connectors, genuine plugs are very difficult to source and extremely expensive. However, these plugs are completely compatible with existing plugs, it is only the internal pin which is different.

Genuine DTM connectors make use of a round pin crushed by a 4 way crimper. These use more of a ferrule design (same as weather seal pin). We sell both the tools for genuine and non genuine plugs. If you are unsure of which to purchase please do not hesitate to contact us.

Although these are not genuine they are good quality at a reasonable price. We have had success using them on our own competition vehicles.
