A significant amount of performance can be unlocked by porting and polishing cylinder heads and manifolds. Having this work professionally ported and flow-tested can be very expensive; however, with this kit and some time, much of the hard work can be done yourself.

This kit contains everything needed to transform a rough, uneven surface into a smooth, polished finish.

It includes a 100-piece stone set, ideal for removing larger amounts of material such as casting edges and lips on manifolds. Once the extremely rough surfaces have been removed, the sanding drums can be used. The kit includes over 350 sanding drums in a wide range of grits, allowing you to progressively work up to 600 grit for an almost perfect finish. At this stage, the surface can be finished using the included metal polish and rotary polishing tools, achieving a near mirror finish.

Please note: when working on intake ports for carburetted engines, the ports should be left slightly “rough” to aid proper air and fuel mixing.
