Hardness/Stiffness is a very difficult thing to measure. Often it has to be measured via Force/Displacement such as things like springs. But soft rubber or nylon becomes more of a challenge, measuring both force and displacement.

This gauge makes use of a very simple Force/Displacement unit from 0-100. Thus giving very easy comparisons from one tyre to another for example.

This gauge is made specifically for Rubbers (All tyre compounds can be measured within the scale), Nylon and Polyurethane (Perfect for bushes). (Once again scaling will be correct)

This is a hugely powerful tool. Tyres which have sat outside over Winter can become hard, then come the first round in Spring with them bolted on, you wonder why you’re a second off the pace! This gauge offers a direct way of comparing lightly used, old and brand new. A new poly bush may be significantly harder than one which has been on a vehicle for some time.

When running multiple different tyre compounds it also gives an exact metric for comparison compound to compound.
