Spring Rate/Stiffness Testing

We have offered spring rate testing for some time; however, we have recently upgraded to a dedicated spring rate testing machine. Our previous setup utilised a corner weight gauge, which had a limited travel range and could struggle with certain spring types.

Our new setup allows for almost limitless force and displacement, meaning we can accurately measure even the stiffest springs, as well as variable-rate springs, right up to the point of coil bind if required. Testing against known reference springs has shown a mean accuracy of 99.17%.

Please contact us to have your spring rates checked. Springs can be posted to us or dropped off in person, and we can return them to you once testing is complete. We are able to test a wide range of springs, from motorsport coilover springs to standard road-car springs.
